We all know that people respond to stressful situations differently. We feel stressed when a situation out ways our ability to cope with it, when we feel out of control of a situation. Usually it isn’t the first thing or second that gets you feeling out of control, but the accumulation of many different circumstances and/or pressures over a period of weeks/months or years.
For example if your personal life is going well you will be able to cope with more stress at work, but if your personal life is falling apart then the work stress will have much greater impact upon you and may seem insurmountable. Working continually (or for a significant period of time) under low grade stress can lead to procrastination, anxiety and depression. Testimonials
By working on retraining the way you think about things and activating your imagination using creative visualisation techniques, you can start to take control of your mind again. Gaining calmness, clarity and direction. Stress is a part of our lives. Resilience is about being able to bounce back quickly after a stressful situation has ended or to cope well during a time of great pressure and stress.
During this workshop I will give you many powerful and effective tools and techniques that you can use everyday that will help you greatly lessen the impact stress has on your life and cope beautifully during the high pressured time. Enabling you to deal much more effectively with the pressure as well as allowing you to remember to bring joy and excitement back into your life.
Workshops can be 2 hours once a week for 8 weeks, 1/2 day or full day to get maximum impact.
A method that has been very effective in the past is a 1-2 hour lecture to a group and then individual 1/2 hour sessions for selected employees or a couple of smaller workshops during the day.
Employees who are relaxed are more productive, have greater clarity of thought are more inventive, creative and focussed on their tasks. It makes monetary sense to help them achieve this, and in fact studies done have shown that it’s enormously more cost effective to coach and retain existing staff rather than to have to go through the expense, time and effort of employing new ones.
